I am reading novels and listening for trains.

I have two goals this year:

- Grow a lot of plants.

- Let Dax play in the dirt as much as possible.

(A secret for chilly mud-play:  100% wool pants do not retain dirt and mud or even water easily, so after kneeling in the damp dirt, they are clean in a matter of minutes and keep the babe warm and dry. As a vegan, I recommend recycled wool — these pants were made by my mom from the sleeves of a sweater from Goodwill!)
